A gorgeous bolt of rare colored stripe homespun linen from Europe. This bolt dates from the late 1800's and has the most beautiful pale green outer stripes and a lovely toffee striped center ! The stripes are spaced out and measure 5 inches from side to side! Just gorgeous! This bolt has a stunning natural toned ground and the weave is dense, very very high quality Ideal for many many projects! So rare to find a bolt this long!! . This fabric can be machine washed over and over and over and over! It was built to withstand generations of constant use! Ideal for upholstery, pillows, headboards etc!

The woman weavers of yesterday would spend their evenings weaving these amazing rolls of linen. It took the average woman 1 night to weave 60 centimeters ( 24 inches) of linen
These rolls are 100% machine washable, on Warm if there is visible dirt, just add a bit of Oxywash! They are so easy to wash, simply spin dry then remove when wet. Roll the linen tightly and let sit overnight. In the morning unroll and allow to dry naturally this presses the linen and there is usually no need to iron ( unless you prefer it perfect). They can also be dried in the dryer beautifully. I like to add fabric softener to the final rinse for added softness, and tumble dry. Pure linen or hemp rolls tend to have no shrinkage, the rolls with cotton tend to have some shrinkage. These rolls are tough and sturdy, built to last.....and last and last!! Hemp is built to last for many many generations making it a lovely textile for creating family heirlooms
All of my linen rolls are produced using natural fibers. Natural fibers have the irregularities and subtleties that are inherent ...adding to their rustic charm

- Upon inspection, If you decide not to move forward with the purchase, you or your agent must refuse the item at the time of pickup/delivery from the seller
