Offered here is an unbranded mid-century ceramic apothecary jar electric lamp. It bears the latin words Foliae Uva Ursi, which is Latin for Bearberry Leaf. Fun fact: Both the fruit and the leaves of the bearberry shrub are widely used to prevent a variety of health problems affecting the stomach, urinary tract, diarrhea, headache etc. It also helps boost the immune system, acquire healthy skin, alleviates pain and problems faced during pregnancy.
Measures about 13 3/4" tall up to the tip of the porcelain, and 24 1/2" tall up to the top of the finial. Base measures 6" in diameter.
This lamp works! No chips, cracks, or unusual wear. Graphics remain pristine. Gold trim is virtually entirely intact. The cord underneath the base has electrical tape wrapped around it (see photo), so it was likely replaced at some time.
Comes with the harp and finial, but NO SHADE OR BULB IS INCLUDED.
