Vintage framed mixed media paintings by J. Mestre, son of similar artist Salvador Mestre. Features the stylized portrait of a woman with raised and glossy head and neck on a textured polychrome ground. There is significant cracking in the raised material used for the face. Not known whether it was this way originally or if it has happened over time. The piece is secure and intact.
Piece is signed in the upper right. Work measures 10 1/2" x 21 1/4". Housed in frame measuring 18 1/4" x 29".
Very good overall vintage condition with light wear to frame and cracking in the face medium as mentioned above and shown in photos.. Please examine all listing photos for full item and condition information.
