It opens in a belt with a drawer, veneered in butterfly wings, fitted with beaded ring handles with mascaron.
Below, the flap, in turn veneered, is decorated with an original lock with foliage entry and key.
Open, this flap mounted on a compass is dark brown leather with spandrels, vignettes and cold pattern.
The interior, also in rosewood, offers six small drawers with chiseled lens knobs, a central space and a fixed shelf.
This piece of furniture has, in the lower part, a double door, inlaid in the same spirit, with authentic lock, entries and key.
The base of the lamp is decorated with a bronze motif of acanthus leaf and tureen.
The front uprights, partly molded and highlighted by bronze falls decorated with rosettes and acanthus leaves, are profiled by humped feet fitted with openwork clogs.
The whole is topped with a raised and grooved marble.
