Cherub with Dove In Gilded Bronze 1800s seated on step completely unclothed and covered by a single cloth drape resting on the pelvis and hooked on the back with a shoulder strap. The Neoclassical sculpture depicts a cherub seated du stepped base, his face turned to the right, toward the hand holding a dove, at face level. Of particular quality are the curls of the hair, which, as well as the drapery, are masterfully chiseled.
The figure rests on a malachite cube 8 cm. on a side. The measurements given also include the hard stone plinth.
The sculpture alone measures 15 cm. high, 6.8 cm. deep and 5.8 cm. wide. It is in excellent condition consistent with dating to the first half of the 19th century; it is of Roman origin but comes from a private collection in Lombardy.

Returns
The Chairish Buyer Guarantee ensures that you have complete peace of mind when

- Prior to shipping or local pickup, buyers may cancel an order for any reason, with the exception of some Made-to-Order items, where supplies have been purchased or work begun on the item.

- Chairish Express In-Home deliveries are currently only offered for international cross-border shipments.
- The item will be delivered to your home and placed in the desired room. The delivery service includes unpacking, inspecting, and removing packaging materials; and does not include installation or setting up the item.
- Shipping charges start at $999 and vary based on the size, weight, packaging, and/or the value of the item.
- Deliveries can take anywhere from 6 to 9 weeks to be delivered.
- Chairish Freight Delivery
- Delivered in a crate, to your front door.
- You will need tools and/or equipment to open the crate.

- Chairish Freight deliveries can take anywhere from 4 to 8 weeks.
- Only available in selected markets.
- Chairish In-Home Delivery
