This highboard combines high craftsmanship with a well balanced appearance. The highboard is made of the best teak that was available. Teak wood has a lovely soft and serene feel and shows little grain on the surface. The sliding doors are made of six flat planks which are held together by three canvas straps (on the backside). They slide in two rails like it was warm butter. When opened the highboard shows two teak planks on the right inner side. The left inner side is devided in two parts: on the left upper side there are two sliding drawers and two planks below them. On the right side there is a compartment with two planks. The Three drawers applied under the sliding doors all have the same dimensions and one grip to pull it open with. The grips on the sliding doors and drawers are made of teak which is slightly darker and shows multiple colored grain. Originaly these highboards were made to put in your crockery set.
