Hand-knotted in wool circa 1970-1970, this 8x11 vintage Siraz rug is a rare new curation believed to originate from the titular region of Turkey.
On the Design:
This is also from a new curation of exciting pieces, all overdyed and with an antique wash that gives them this distressed, shabby-chic look in their texture - while they all remain in excellent condition.
Here, rich brown and bright taupe tones, almost trending white, underscore floral patterns in the all over style. Keen eyes will note blue accents punctuating the pattern. Admirers of the craft will admire few rugs of this bright beauty from even this young vintage provenance—a special piece with many applications.
Condition:
The rug thrives in good condition for its age and lineage.
