The design dates from 1952 but is still loved for its timeless aesthetics and functionality. The name "sawbuck chair" is derived from the design of the back legs, which resemble the traditional wooden supports used to secure logs for sawing, known as "sawbucks". These rear legs give the chair a rustic look that is combined with the sleek lines of the seating area and the open backrest, typical of wegner's work. The ch29 is made of high-quality teak wood and craftsmanship, characteristic of carl hansen & søn. The seat area and backrest have been carefully designed for optimal comfort, while the chair still maintains a slim profile. The chair was available in different wood types and finishes, allowing it to adapt to different interior styles. The timeless design of the ch29 has given it status as a design classic and it remains a popular choice for both private homes and commercial spaces around the world. This set consisting of 6 original copies in teak is in very neat condition, both the woodwork and the upholstery are original and immediately usable. The traces of use are not strange for a set of 6 chairs that have been used for more than 60 years as a practical piece of furniture par excellence, but can never be called disturbing. The upholstery is intact and can easily last a round. We would like to hear about any wishes regarding (new) upholstery and we can of course also take care of it for you if desired. This set can be used immediately and will be a true eye-catcher in anyone's interior. Orders where Free Local Pickup or Seller Managed Local Delivery were selected:
- Upon inspection, If you decide not to move forward with the purchase, you or your agent must refuse the item at the time of pickup/delivery from the seller
- Once you have taken possession of the item, all sales are final
- International, cross-border returns may require different processes depending on the countries between which the item is shipping to/from, and the buyer is responsible and duties (if applicable, on cross-border orders).

- Chairish Freight Delivery
