This is a fabulous decorative 800 silver bottle cannon, for you to show off your champagne or wine bottles, made by Kaser & Walter in Germany in the early part of the 20th century. It has beautiful embossed acanthus leaf design spokes on the large (4 1/8 inch diameter) wheels, a lovely etched cradle for the battle to sit on and wonderful rococo pattern on the body of the cart. There are the German hallmarks, 800 (silver content) and KW (Kaser & Walter) stamped on the axle connecting the wheels and the entire piece weighs 362 grams. It is possible that something has been broken off the front (where the bottom of the bottle sits).
Red bottle is included with the holder.
