excellent parker writing set, consisting of a fountain pen, ballpoint pen and model 65 custom black mechanical pencil in its original case. Each of the three pieces retains its optimized silhouette and its emblematic fluted gold-plated steel cap with arrow-shaped clip. The cap has a conical glass finish.

each writing tool has been assembled by hand, incorporating parker's experience and reputation for superior craftsmanship. The material of the pen body is black lucite with a glossy finish, a compound synthesized by dupont at parker's request. Lucite is an acrylic, a type of resin that has the trade name plexiglas, very durable.

the parker pen company is a luxury pen manufacturer, founded in 1888 by george safford parker in the united states. It quickly became one of the most prestigious manufacturers of pens in the world, which have been used in such important moments in history as the signing of armistices in world war ii and nuclear disarmament treaties between the us and the ussr during the war.
