Cogniat writes about the history, social milieu, different phases, and great and minor masters. The book is in very good condition, with a tight binding and pages that are slightly yellowed but in great condition otherwise. The unclipped dust jacket is also in very good condition; it has a mylar cover on it and has a little edge and corner wear and a few small tears. See less
