The three paintings have an oval wooden frame painted in white with carved reliefs in the shape of a cross. They are decorated with the famous Italian trompe l'oeil, which seeks to achieve the simile of another material by polychroming the wooden base with great skill.

Each piece represents a different building of classical ruins, always surrounded by a natural environment, in which rocks and vegetation predominate, invading the monument.
