A vintage N.W. Persian oriental rug, size 6'8" x 6'8", circa 1940. This delightful hand-knotted vintage wool carpet is characterized by a diamond design in the softly hued central field, which is demarcated by stylized floral elements within each individual diamond. The field is enclosed within an outer border with a scrolling motif of alternating leaves and flower heads. In excellent condition, with sturdy yet supple wool pile throughout.
