This lovely hand-knotted wool carpet features a very fine weave, with short pile, and a beautiful medallion design. The intricate medallion is in a star shape at the center of the rug, and sits on an ivory cartouche that is filled with varying floral motifs. The corner spandrels echo the design and colors of the medallion, and give the rug a gorgeous sense of symmetry and balance amid the sea of flowers. Enclosed with multiple layers of supporting borders. Very good condition, with moderate wear. See less
