An antique Northwest Persian decorative oriental carpet, in room size, size 11'6"" x 9'0"". This hand-knotted antique decorative carpet emanates from Northwestern Persia, in 1900. The rug is characterized by a palmettes design allover the green central field, which is at once both symmetrical and whimsical; precise and airy. The central field is encased within a terracotta outer border, which adds dimension and definitude to the whimsy of the central space.
