This high end, contemporary and bespoke table is evidence of Egg's unique and exploratory approach to materials.
The base is a solid French Oak cant that has been finished in the ancient Japanese technique of Shou Sugi Ban which gives it a beautiful, black textured finish that has a natural sheen. The French oak allows for natural cracking which imbues it with a great deal of character.
The top is finished with a sand cast solid brass plate, the sand casting technique gives the top a unique slightly pitted, handmade and textured appearance.
The top is connected to the 2 part base with unique solid brass cabochon which is set with an amethyst crystal.  Labeled by Maker,Numbered See less
