Rare 1940s Mid-Century Modern dresser, attributed to iconic designer Paul Frankl for Brown Saltman. This piece exudes Art Deco sophistication with a clean Parsons-style silhouette, and its distinctive X-pull handle which are hand-forged in solid steel. With warm, contrasting ash wood grain, this two-drawer dresser is both sculptural and functional, ideal as a statement piece in a primary bedroom, entryway, or living room vignette.

This dresser has been expertly restored and is in very good vintage condition, showcasing the kind of patina and craftsmanship that collectors of 20th-century American furniture value. The original X-pulls were lost, but the replacements were custom made to preserve the spirit and geometry of the design.

No maker’s mark is present, but the attribution is strong—particularly since we have a matching four-drawer version featuring the original hardware, also available.
