These volumes are bound in black Levant leather with richly gilded designs on the front covers and spines, with gilded pages. They contain the architecture, paintings and sculpture exhibited in Chicago at the World's Columbian Exposition. There are numerous engravings by well known artists, i.e. Winslow Homer, Louis Comfort Tiffany, Stephen Parrish ad Madeline Lemaire. Many of the full page color engravings are matted.
