Tony Duquette Style large and heavy glazed clay vintage Dragon egg pot in shades of brown and ochre/tan with coveted interior shade of teal/turquoise.
Thick, textured glaze. Very rich looking.
Featuring two fierce large raised Dragons.
Measuring 19" Height x 19" Width.
Very dramatic used as a planter. Three holes bottom for drainage.
This vintage Chinese dragon egg pot is a unique piece that adds character to any room. Made of porcelain and pottery, this brown and turquoise pot features a textured dragon design that is sure to catch the eye. Its exact age is unknown but it is an antique original from China and adds a touch of history to any collection.
Back in the mid 1900’s these were used for
transporting and selling of 100 year old eggs in the local markets. Nowadays
these are used as jardinieres or planters. Can be used inside or outside but
keep away from freezing temperatures. Dragons don't like the cold. Would look
beautiful on any porch or patio. Lemon tree or greenery would be beautiful.
Condition is subjective. It has wear given its age (please see photos) It does sit flat and stable. It is structurally sound, heavy and well made.
As with all antique and vintage furniture unless noted as mint condition, some imperfections noted are consistent with age. Please zoom in on the pictures and ask questions prior to purchasing. - Upon inspection, If you decide not to move forward with the purchase, you or your agent must refuse the item at the time of pickup/delivery from the seller
- Once you have taken possession of the item, all sales are final

Cancellations

- Deliveries can take anywhere from 6 to 9 weeks to be delivered.
- Chairish Freight Delivery
- Delivered in a crate, to your front door.
- You will need tools and/or equipment to open the crate.

- Chairish Freight deliveries can take anywhere from 4 to 8 weeks.
