Rare secretary in native wood marquetry from the 18th century. This secretary has just been completely restored by our cabinetmaker. It is mounted on an oak frame. We find a piece of furniture at the museum of decorative arts in paris that is very similar in its decor. The opinions of colleagues are quite divided as to the cabinetmaker who made this piece of furniture. So i remain open to advice and opinions of course. A mixture of walnut, plum, maple, sycamore on the marquetry. It has its original interior with wrought iron compasses. Full grain leather engraved with the wheel comes to be changed.
