The main element of this true work of art are the sunflowers. Made of 'pasta vetrosa', a type of opaque, brightly coloured glass traditionally used in murano for decorative elements, they look like real flowers that have just bloomed. The 'ballottòn' decoration, typical of murano chandeliers, gives them that special criss-crossed relief effect. The contrast of the smoky colour with the bright yellow of the sunflowers creates delightful reflections: the result is a unique artefact, a jewel of rare beauty.
