The light consists of a large disc shaped shade in milky white acrylic complemented by a  beautiful central brass-plated aluminum band and accents, including ceiling rose. The suspension system allows for easy adjustment of the pendant height simply by pulling the bottom brass element that extends the spiral black cord. The design, functionality and use of various materials showcase the essence of Italian style from the mid-century era. The innovative incorporation of materials such as metal, plastic and acrylic was very popular among iconic 1960s and 70s Italian designers and studios, including Guzzini, Vico Magistretti and Artemide.
