Executed in sculptural copper with an attractive patina and white-painted interior, this pendant lamp is highly characteristic of quintessential Swedish design of the midcentury era. Unmarked.

Sigurd 'Carl Thore' Lindkvist worked for the lighting firm Luko, before joining Granhaga Metallindustri AB as Head of Sales and Lighting Design. He adopted the pseudonym 'Carl Thore' when he was presenting his lights to a client, not wanting to reveal to the customer his identity as a designer. The lights were labeled ‘Carl Thore Design’ from that point forward.

Each lamp accommodates 1x 60W equivalent standard medium base (e26) LED bulb (LED only). Professionally rewired for US electrical with new period-style 4.25" ceiling canopy added. Adjustable 60" max drop with new cloth cord. Not UL listed, but recommended UL listing possible from authorized 3rd party vendor.

Some age appropriate scuffs, dings, nicks, patina, and wear as largely shown and noted only for accuracy. Please note that only one representative example appears in the photos.
