Keil painted with some of the greats, including Joan Miró, Pablo Picasso, and Andy Warhol, to name a few.

This is a phenomenal abstract portrait of Peter’s friend and mentor, Andy Warhol. It is signed and dated “P. Keil ‘94” in the lower left corner and executed on a canvas-like cloth. Oftentimes, Peter painted on cloth he had before being able to afford canvas. This piece is part of Peter's exclusive Junge Wilde Collection, which he worked on in Spain and Germany in the 90's.

It is titled and signed with location, “‘Andy Warhol’, Peter Keil, Berlin” on the verso.

The art has wear that is consistent with age.

This piece was purchased as a routine purchase by the Bowen family, directly from the Keil family, acting on behalf of Peter. See less
