A thoroughly charming painting depicting the artist and his family in the reflection of their gilt overmantle mirror. Due to the slightly distorted reflection, it is like looking into another world, his world.
An unusual piece that is well-executed with plenty of feeling.
Signed and dated 1970.
Framed in a simple gilt frame.
The painting itself is in very good condition with only very minor wear. The frame is also in a similarly good order.
