This is a Edwardian English pewter round hip flask decorated with an inlaid carved image of a steeplechase gentleman jockey taking a brush jump. It was produced in the 1910s and is marked on the bottom. “Fine British Pewter, Made in Sheffield, England.” See images. It has clearly been used and the dings and dents are part of its charm. It sits straight on a table and the screw top works well. There is a cologne-like smell on the inside. Dimensions are approximately 4” by 4.25.” Depth is 1.25.” Some similar items are marked Josiah F. Fitch. I cannot find enough information on that name to relate it to this product. See less
