Connoisseurs will note the subtle variations in colorway repeating through the medallions, with notes of varied cream, orange, and olive accents in the prevailing beige-brown colorway promoting a sense of attitude complementing the neutral-meets-cultural mood this particular Khotan rug inspires. Enfolding borders with ram’s horn motifs—notable symbols believed to regard themes of strength, fertility, and protection in their varied cultural interpretations—lend a subtle juxtaposed boldness in darker earth tones playing naturally against the more forgiving hues permeating the appeal of this spacious Khotan rug. An ideal selection for gallery spaces and spacious dining rooms seeking the negotiation between an exceptional classic rug style with transitional rug elements. See less
