In this portrait, three beautiful young women gently guide their canoes into the centre of the Lake Tahoe waters. Each women is typical of the style of the 1950s, with perfectly coiffed hair, made up lips, and elegant swim wear.

Slim Aarons stayed for a little while in Lake Tahoe, taking time to appreciate the stunning natural landscape.
