The transitional piece features four squares in its center nodding to medallion-style patterns, each with three designs celebrated by the pile pieces of the Konya region in this period. Top and middle squares rely on a red and gold background, while the second and fourth set on beige and gold. Three borders contain the center design, with all featuring florals. The first is set on a black background with small flowers in white, red, and brown. A middle border features larger flowers, each of which boast petals of different colors. The final border features flowers of a similar size to the first, but they are set on a beige background and accented with little squares.
