In the late 1990s, to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Eames house in Pacific Palisades, California, a limited edition of 500 Eames anniversary tables were produced by Herman Miller, after the original gold table that Charles and Ray Eames designed for the living room of their famous house. Pure gold leaf, applied by hand and sealed with lacquer, covers a solid brass top, the table itself fashioned from maple with solid maple legs and powder-coated cross braces. Retains manufacturer’s tag identifying this example as a numbered edition of 500. See less
