1960’s portrait painting of a young woman with a mod look reminiscent of Marlo Thomas and ‘That Girl’. The painting appears to be oil on canvas covered board incorporating shades of sienna, brown, black, red and accents of peacock blue. It is framed in a painted black wood with silver leaf edging and outfitted with wire for hanging. The subject’s demure look, including feathery eyelashes and a flipped hairdo, is charming and perfect for a fun portrait gallery. Unsigned…artist unknown.
Good condition with a little wear to the frame and a couple of chips to the canvas surface as shown in photograph 7 with red arrows .
Measures 19.25” tall x 15.25” wide x 1” deep including the frame. The canvas without frame measures 16” tall x 12” wide.y
