Color has a profound effect on mood and sensory arousal. In the artist's Wallflower collection, composition takes a back seat, leaving the color experience of utmost importance.
The Wallflower collection combines dozens-upon-dozens of thin translucent pigment washes to build up nuanced, abstract colorfield arrays. The ethereal tonal effects and lack of specific contextual representation allow the viewer to get lost in the minimalist, emotive color.
