Circa 1850s. Inlaid Mother of Pearl adorned tea box on faux bamboo stand. The box contains two separate tea boxes topped with heavily etched lids. The mother of pearl inlaid designs are found on all four sides of the box as well as the inner and outer lid. The faux bamboo stand is painted in a striking metallic finish. The stand is not original but the label from the original is on the inner panel.
The tea box measures 19 x 12 x 15 inches tall. On the stand it measures 32 1/2 inches tall.
