Lovely antique French 19th Century Louis Philippe style gold gilt mirror with crest and pearl beading on the interior perimeter.This beautiful antique French gold gilt mirror has the typical rounded upper corners that make it a Louis Philippe mirror. Louis Philippe mirrors, with their clean lines and versatile shape, are a popular choice in traditional or contemporary home settings.The original gilt finish of the frame is nicely worn, giving it great character.The mirror frame is structurally healthy and the glass is still in a very good condition. The glass has a few minor foxed spots - part of its charm - but no mist.There are some minor imperfections to the frame, as would be expected with a piece of this age and usage, but this does not in any way detract from its charm.
