Antique French 19th Century Louis Philippe style gold gilt mirror with wavy flower etchings on its frame. This beautiful antique French gold gilt mirror has the typical rounded upper corners that make it a Louis Philippe mirror. It has a nice narrow size. The mirror has its original mirror plate and wooden back cladding. The gold leaf gilding shows elegant incised flower and leaves-decorations. Some slight red bole shines through the gilding, giving the gold color a warm touch. The mirror frame is structurally healthy and the glass is still in a very good condition. We can note that the mirror and the back are authentic and original and that the mirror is old. The antique mirror has slight imperfections caused by wear and age, but is in a general very fine state.
