This beautiful antique French gold gilt mirror is a typical Louis Philippe mirror. It has typical rounded upper corners that make it a Louis Philippe mirror. The mirror has its original mirror plate and wooden back cladding. The gold leaf gilding shows some slight red bole through the gilding, giving the gold color a warm touch. The antique mirror has slight imperfections caused by wear and age, but is in a general very fine state. The looking glass is original to this mirror and has a delightful sparkle and distressed worn patches, this is all part of the mirrors authentic look, giving this mirror extra charm.
