Solid oak and black lacquered base with original black lacquered refinished top. In very good original condition with minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina. The Modernist look of this wonderful Art Deco sideboard or credenza by Cor Alons and executed by Fa. Winterkamp & Van Putten is also known in the Netherlands under the name Haagse School. The Haagse School was inspired by the designs of the famous architect Frank Lloyd Wright. The famous Dutch Art Magazine Wendingen published a series of articles on Frank Lloyd Wright in 1925.
