This exceptional artefact of modern design reflects the extreme interest in modernism across Europe during this period. This unique lamp not only functions as light source but also as a sculptural component. The sphere was purposely created to be filled with random bubbles and pockets of air within the glass that capture and refract light from the interior bulbs to demonstrate its handcrafted origin. When the sphere is removed the lighting structure is revealed showing four brass colored lamp holders with E27 sockets with brass colored mirror head bulbs of different heights along with an arrangements of solid brass spheres also at various heights. The lights can be turned on both at the same time, but also separate. The natural off-white shade illuminates in a warm color when the light is turned on.
