"Money you don't tuck in a wallet!"
Features two Mbole tribe spherical copper rings (one on a custom iron stand), flattened and open on one side, worn as anklets and used as currency in commercial transactions between tribes of the central Democratic Republic of the Congo, formerly Zaire. They were important elements in marriage transactions, and were necessary payments for inclusion in secret societies. Further included is a Katanga Cross, also called a handa, is a cast copper ingot in the shape of a cross by the Luba people, from the same region, used for currency.
