The tray is mid 19th century & in a beautiful shade of red with golden floral design around the perimeter while the banding has more of a leaf design. No makers mark which is normal for that period in England however, there is a number painted in gilt on the reverse. Just think of the stories this tray could tell! The stand, modern, parcel gilt & ebonized with gilt ball finials to the tops of the supports, raised on slightly splayed tapered legs & joined by a cross stretcher. The tray is so pretty it could be hung on the wall as art. Think out of the box with this one. Conversation piece. See less
