An acrylic on canvas abstract painting titled "Fabric of Space #5" by American artist James Massena March (1953-2021). This colorful work has defined tubular forms overlapping in bright red, black, yellow, gray, and purple against a blue background. The painting is displayed in a black wood frame and is signed and titled verso.
James Massena March was born in Cleveland, Ohio, and spent most of his life living in Ohio. March attended The Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts and Rhode Island School of Design for some time, eventually receiving his Bachelor's degree from Cleveland State University and Master's of Fine Art at Kent State University. His work is in the collections of PNC Bank, Cleveland State University, and Case Western Reserve University.
