This is a heavy, very sturdy piece made by Wesley Allen Inc., a company that has specialized in making superior quality beds since 1976 and is still in business to this day. There are some light scuffs and scratches sparsely distributed throughout, but overall this piece is in very good vintage condition (9 out of 10). It displays clean and bright with the brass still being beautifully reflective. The bed will arrive broken down but will be easy to assemble by referring to the photos in this listing. See less

The bed has … moreWear consistent with age and use but overall in very good vintage condition (9 out of 10). The bed has some minor scuffs and scratches here and there and I have included some in the photos. These imperfections are quite unnoticeable unless you are inspecting close up. All nuts and bolts are accounted for except for about 3 washers. The bed was put together without them for many years so I wouldn't be concerned with having to get some for assembly. Also, there is one round plastic cap missing from the bottom of one of the legs (see photo). Again, the bed has been together for years without it but if you did want something under it you could just put down a small felt furniture pad. I do my best to make sure that the photos accurately reflect the overall condition and look of the piece. Please be sure to zoom into the photos to inspect closely as they are also an important part of relaying the item condition. less
