Tribal motifs and enigmatic symbols, including Burdocks, stars, Goz eye motifs, X-shapes, diamonds, concentric lozenges, and ladder-comb motifs, adorn the abrashed black field, imbuing the rug with layers of cultural significance and aesthetic intrigue.
Each symbol woven into the fabric of the Moroccan rug carries its own unique meaning and cultural resonance. Burdocks symbolize protection, while stars evoke celestial guidance and protection. The Goz eye motifs, resembling eyes within a hand shape, are believed to ward off evil spirits and bring good luck.
