The moonstone weighs 8.69 carats and has excellent adularescence which makes it appear that light is rolling of the surface of the stone (a unique phenomenon of moonstones). Adding to that is also has another phenomenon not common on moonstones, which is a cat’s eye. It is accented by 0.59 carats of round brilliant cut diamonds set in both 18k white and yellow gold including the white gold leaf on the side of the ring.
