Xix th century terracotta sculpture depicting ladies on a neoclassical klismos chair, entitled "duo" and signed "e d lanteri". Edouard lanteri (1848-1917) was a french born, british sculptor, who taught at the 'national art training school' in south kensington. He was the art college's first proffessor of modeling and was involved with sculpture at the v&a museum, as well as writing books explaining composition in animal and human sculpture. The terracota retain its original white paint- dimensions height:53cm width: 43 cm depth: 30 cm. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
