Mātra is a ceramic lamp which draws its inspiration from the intricate layers of sediments, gracefully overlapping, twisting, and curving within the earth’s crust, offering a glimpse into the geological marvels that have shaped our world. As it casts a gentle, orange, luminous glow, it conjures images of molten lava silently coursing beneath the earth’s surface. In this ceramic piece, the volatile geological narrative is quietly reimagined, finding its place in the gentle ceramic form, revealing the poetic elegance hidden within our planet’s most intense moments. Andrei clontea is a self taught artist who has seamlessly transitioned from the world of architecture to the realm of ceramics. Splitting his time between luxembourg and brussels, he has embarked on an artistic journey exploring the infinite possibilities that clay has to offer. His work manifests as sculptural forms that draw inspiration from the elegance of nature, the grace of animals, and the complexity of human body. By translating these influences into organic shapes with earthy textures, he brings a harmonious balance between rawness and refinement. Orders where Free Local Pickup or Seller Managed Local Delivery were selected:
- Upon inspection, If you decide not to move forward with the purchase, you or your agent must refuse the item at the time of pickup/delivery from the seller
- Once you have taken possession of the item, all sales are final
- International, cross-border returns may require different processes depending on the countries between which the item is shipping to/from, and the buyer is responsible and duties (if applicable, on cross-border orders).
- On approved returns, the buyer is responsible for the full cost of return packing and shipping.
Cancellations
- Prior to shipping or local pickup, buyers may cancel an order for any reason, with the exception of some Made-to-Order items, where supplies have been purchased or work begun on the item.

- Chairish Express In-Home deliveries are currently only offered for international cross-border shipments.

- Deliveries can take anywhere from 6 to 9 weeks to be delivered.
- Chairish Freight Delivery
- Delivered in a crate, to your front door.
