Modeled from the earth that the fig tree protects, the pricly pear wall light is created in terracotta by the hand of the designer. The opalines, like fleshy berries, radiate, and highlight this natural prowess. Mickaël koska is a free thinker troubled and captivated by the reliefs of territories, their little-known resources and the pure lines that emerge from them. A surprising nature infusing it with the design of generous and playful shapes for the creation of singular objects. Self-taught, mickaël approaches design instinctively and freely before perfecting his skills at the école boulle in paris. In 2013, he created his studio oscillating between art and design in marseille and continued his research in close collaboration with the know-how of french manufacturers. His mentors noé duchaufour-lawrance, stéphane parmentier and jaime hayon led him to unite his desire for craftsmanship with his geometric shapes matched with pop colors.
