This piece belongs to the first series of 6 large coins created by Natasha Lelenco in 2019, starting from the concept of the "face" and incorporating a floral background inspired by the traditional rugs and tapestries of Eastern Europe. Crafted in a tondo shape on a plywood panel, it features an intervened profile that becomes an integral part of the piece's composition, adding depth and bestowing a certain sculptural character to an initially pictorial work. Natasha Lelenco, artist of Moldovan origin, addresses themes of foreignness and the well-trodden subject of the value of art with this series. While conventional coins have a fixed value and typically depict a national figure, Natasha's coins showcase anonymous faces and offer variable, often arbitrary, selling values. These coins can function both individually and as panels alongside others from the same series, allowing for the creation of installations as vast as desired. The artist also creates panels on commission according to the preferences of clients. Feel free to get in touch, and we will be delighted to provide further information. As an interesting curiosity, the artist offers her collectors the possibility to exchange the equivalent value of the percentage that would have been due to the artist from the sale of these coins for future works of her own creation. Orders where Free Local Pickup or Seller Managed Local Delivery were selected:
- Upon inspection, If you decide not to move forward with the purchase, you or your agent must refuse the item at the time of pickup/delivery from the seller
- Once you have taken possession of the item, all sales are final
- International, cross-border returns may require different processes depending on the countries between which the item is shipping to/from, and the buyer is responsible and duties (if applicable, on cross-border orders).
- On approved returns, the buyer is responsible for the full cost of return packing and shipping.
Cancellations

- Chairish Freight Delivery
- Delivered in a crate, to your front door.

- Chairish Freight deliveries can take anywhere from 4 to 8 weeks.
