Metropolitan oak table lamp by insidherland dimensions: d 35 x w 35 x h 65 cm. Materials: satin, wood structure with translucent dark brown in high gloss varnish and polished nickel. 4 kg. Located in new york, usa, the lincoln square is famous for the performing arts that take place in a group of eclectic buildings that seem to create a dialogue with the centerpiece of this square, the revson fountain, where people gather before attending the cultural events. “i remember spending the late afternoon at the lincoln square just admiring people and the rich artistic environment, when one element stood out. A group of arches in the main facade of the front building sets up the monumental scale of the entire square.” - joana santos barbosa designed by the american architect wallace k. Harrison in the 60’s, the metropolitan opera house is clad in white travertine with full height structural arches that shape glazed recessed planes on the facade. At night, the light coming from inside the building illuminates the entire square. This symbiosis between the structural grandeur and the intense interior light was the great source of inspiration for the design of the metropolitan table lamp. All our lamps can be wired according to each country. If sold to the usa it will be wired for the usa for instance. Created by architect joana santos barbosa in 2012, insidherland is a portuguese brand of exclusive design. Drawn with the signature of the creator, the impressive range of contemporary luxury furniture, lighting, upholstery and accessories are connected to her personal memories and have been highlighted for their innovative and soulful designs. Joana explores several influences from travels around the world to define her own land as a place that allows her to translate her perceptions into objects of art. The essence of insidherland is presented by two inspiring collections. Beyond memory collection is deeply influenced by organic forms of nature, legends and traditional cultures, as for the identity collection is molded by forms of architecture and art. Both collections are designed as a dialog in which nature meets strong architectural lines to create relaxed and sophisticated interiors surrounded by natural materials and meaningful art pieces. Orders where Free Local Pickup or Seller Managed Local Delivery were selected:
- Upon inspection, If you decide not to move forward with the purchase, you or your agent must refuse the item at the time of pickup/delivery from the seller
- Once you have taken possession of the item, all sales are final
- International, cross-border returns may require different processes depending on the countries between which the item is shipping to/from, and the buyer is responsible and duties (if applicable, on cross-border orders).
- On approved returns, the buyer is responsible for the full cost of return packing and shipping.
Cancellations
- Prior to shipping or local pickup, buyers may cancel an order for any reason, with the exception of some Made-to-Order items, where supplies have been purchased or work begun on the item.

- Chairish Freight Delivery
