Chaty Vallauris mirror - Small size
In the entrance hall, to adjust your hairstyle before going out, in the living room to create that missing fifties touch, or in the bedroom above the chest of drawers, this mirror has a retro touch that's very much in evidence.
Its distinctive feature - apart from its success and curved mirror - is its ability to blend in with any style.
This retro mirror is equally at home in ethnic chic, Scandinavian or Art Deco.

The Chaty Vallauris sun mirror is a relatively recent decorative object, dating back to the 1940s. It first appeared with the renowned and talented Gilbert Poillerat, a master blacksmith who gave it a majestic, respectable version that would later be copied and hijacked many times over. The golden age of the sunburst mirror was between 1950 and 1960, when its popularity was in full swing and it could be found in almost every interior: on walls with majestic iron beams, but also in rattan or plaster.
The sunburst mirror, with its rounded shape, is directly inspired by the famous witch's eye, with its slightly domed, intriguing appearance.
In the '30s, it was a favorite in bourgeois interiors. The curved nature of the glass made it possible to observe an entire room and brought light into the space.
The mirror arms are supposed to be made of gilded metal. There are also versions with wider, more elaborate wooden arms. The back is a cardboard circle stamped Chaty Vallauris AM. This piece has an attribution mark,

- Chairish Freight Delivery
- Delivered in a crate, to your front door.
